Chairman of the Interim Election Council Khil Raj Regmi urged the Adhikari couple to break the fast-unto-death. Nanda Prasad Adhikari and Ganga Maya Adhikari of Gorkha district have been staging fast-unto-death at the ICU of the Bir Hospital.
They have been demanding action against those involved in the murder of their son, Krishna Prasad Adhikari. Chairman Regmi reached Bir Hospital and requested them to break the hunger strike. Regmi told journalists said that investigation into the issues raised by the Adhikari couple and judicial process has been moved ahead.
Chairman Regmi said that he assured the Adhikari couple that judicial process has moved ahead. They said that the rebel side had kidnapped and murdered their son during the conflict period.
