The sixth edition of CAN SofTech 2013 kicked off today. The fair aims to bring together national and international ICT related companies under a single roof at the Exhibition Hall in Bhrikuti Mandap.

Inaugurating the four-day event, Vice-president Parmananda Jha stressed on the need of increasing access of computer and ICT education even in the remote areas to change the lifestyle of the people and bring about economic revolution in the country. He said that ICT education should not only focus on creating better job opportunities, but should productive for those who pursue it. The expo has some 116 stalls of 58 national and international companies displaying the latest ICT products including Subisu, DishHome, LG among others.
