National » CPN-Maoist will promulgate a new constitution

Chairman of CPN-Maoist, Mohan Baidhya has warned of drafting a new constitution through agitation. He said that his party would promulgate a new constitution from the street if the four-major parties do not show seriousness.

Speaking at a program in the capital, Baidhya said his party would not act as a rubber stamp of the four parties. He also warned of dire consequences if the four parties conducted the elections by mobilizing the army. Baidhya also reiterated his demand of convening a round table conference to end the stalemate. He further warned of foiling the Constituent Assembly elections.
