33 poll-opposing parties have warned of dire consequences if the government held the Constituent Assembly election by mobilizing Nepal Army.

The parties warned that such a decision would push the country towards conflict. Organizing a press conference at the CPN-Maoist party-office in Buddhanagar, the parties alleged the four-major parties of shying away from talks. They said that they would boycott the elections. Meanwhile, CPN-Maoist took out a rally calling for boycott of the purported elections to the Constituent Assembly slated for November 19. The rally started from Lagankhel and passed through different places, including Jawalakhel, Kupondole, among other places.
