High Level Political Committee urges to resume the voter roll registration
The High Level Political Committee has urged the Election Commission to resume the voter roll registration task.
Chairman of Unified CPN-Maoist Pushpa Kamal Dahal held talks with Chief Election Commissioner Nil Kanth Uprety. He urged Upreti to see if the task of voters' roll registration closed on July 15 could be resumed.
In the meeting held at the Commission’s office, Dahal discussed ways on how the participation of citizens, who did not register as voters, could be ensured. The Commission had on Thursday published its final timetable for the Constituent Assembly polls scheduled for November 19
