High Level Political Committee invites unconditional talks for third time
The High Level Political Committee invited the CPN-Maoist and other poll-opposing parties for unconditional talks.
Coordinator of the high level committee, Pushpa Kamal Dahal sent a letter to CPN-Maoist Chairman Mohan Baidya this morning. A meeting of the committee had on Saturday decided to send an invitation to the agitating parties to bring them on board the election process. This is the third invitation to the CPN-Maoist party.
A meeting of the Baidya-led alliance on Thursday had decided to sit for talks if the high level committee sent an unconditional invitation for talks. The agitating parties had earlier rejected invites alleging the high level committee of not addressing their demands.
