Nepal Police Club clinches 1st Army Chief Cup title

Nepal Police Club clinched the title of the 1st Army Chief Cup defeating Nepal Army 1-0 goal. Ishwori Magar of Nepal Army made a suicide goal at the 52nd minute of the match played at the Nepal Army Headquarter Ground in the capital. Winner Nepal Police Club received a cash prize of Rs three lakhs while the runner-ups received Rs 1 lakh 50 thousand. Third place Armed Police Force received Rs 75 thousand. Likewise, Namita Dali of Nepal Police Club has been adjudged as the best goalkeeper. Similarly, Ghim Kumari Gurung of Nepal Police was declared as the best defender. Nepal Army's Dipa Adhikari was declared as the best mid-fielder, Nepal Army's Krishnaa Khatri as the best forward. Nepal Army Chief Gaurav Shumsher Rana, National Sports Council Member Secretary Yuvraj Lama, ANFA President Ganesh Lama gave away the prizes to the teams. The championship was organized by Nepal Army, which was participated by five regional teams and three departmental teams.
