Six pilgrims died in a accident

Six pilgrims died after they were swept away by the swollen Kamala River in Sindhuli this morning. Six pilgrims, including four women, were swept away by the Kamala River while crossing it on their way towards Madhu Ganga of Sindhuli. The deceased have been identified as 40-year-old Ram Paridem of Sarlahi, Ganga Devi Nuniya and Kumiya Devi Nuniya of Mahottari. The identifications of other deceased are yet to be ascertained. It is learnt that other 5 are still missing in the River. Security personnel along with the locals rescued 13 pilgrims. Likewise, a person died when a tipper hit a motorcycle in Banepa. Pillion rider, Maina Adhikari died when the tipper Ba 2 Kha 9629 hit the motorcycle. Motorcycle rider Ujjwal Adhikari has been injured in the accident. He has been admitted at the Banepa hospital. Locals obstructed the Araniko Highway in Banepa to protest the death.
