At least five killed in a boat accident
At least five persons were killed and over 30 others went missing as a boat capsized in Saptokoshi River of Udayapur district this afternoon. As many as 90 persons were on board the boat.
Five people were rescued alive from the river. Massive search operation is underway, police said. The overcrowded boat was heading to Mainamaini of Udayapur from Chatara. Police suspected heavy rain and water current as well as overcrowd that caused the boat to capsize.
