The top leaders of major parties have termed the November 19 CA election as only alternative to resolve the poltiical crisis.
Addressing a program organized by former parliamenterians front in Kathmandu today, Unified CPN Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal urged the dissenting parties to participate in the elections leaving behind their stances. Dahal added that the nation should be given an outlet through CA elections. He also warned of launching revolution as in past if necessary.
On the occasion, Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala said election is necessary to strengthen democracy. He warned of crisis in the nation if election is postponed or obstructed. Likewise, CPN UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal stressed on unity among all parties for the polls. Addressing the same program, chairman of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum democratic Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar said the nation would move towards crisis if the 11 and 25 points agreement is scrapped as demanded by CPN maoist. Meanwhile, CPN Maoist Chairman Mohan Baidhya said they are ready to go for polls after seeking an outlet through dialouge.
